Two Aspiring Healthcare Professionals

Introducing Emma

Emma, a bright-eyed teenager from a small village in Cornwall, is about to embark on a new chapter in her life. This autumn, she’ll be starting her A-levels at a boarding school in Bristol, specializing in sciences. The move is necessary as her local school doesn’t offer the advanced courses she needs for her chosen career path.

Emma’s dream is to become a radiologist. She’s fascinated by medical imaging technology and its crucial role in diagnosing diseases. After completing her A-levels, she plans to pursue a medical degree, followed by a specialization in radiology.

“I’m excited about this new adventure,” Emma shares. “I’m looking forward to hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment and learning from experienced professionals in the field.”

Meet Oliver

Oliver hails from a bustling town in Wales and will soon start his vocational training in Cardiff. While academics aren’t his strong suit, he excels in practical skills and has a natural talent for connecting with people.

Inspired by his grandmother’s experience in a care home, Oliver has decided to pursue a career as an occupational therapist. He aims to help elderly patients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

“If things don’t go as planned,” Oliver admits with a grin, “I might explore becoming a physical therapist for professional athletes. Sports have always been a big part of my life!”

Both Emma and Oliver are eager to begin their journeys in the healthcare field, each bringing their unique strengths and passions to their chosen professions.
